Equipment Compatibility allows you to define Type, Make and Model of equipment, and then which stock items are compatible with which pieces of equipment.

For example, if you supplied spare parts or accessories for cars, then an example of Equipment could be air filters, oil filters etc; Manufacturers could be Audi, BMW, Chrysler etc., whilst the Models could be A4, 3 Series and Neon. It is then simply a case of matching the stock items corresponding to air filters or oil filters etc to the correct Manufacturer and correct Model. Each stock item can be associated with multiple pieces of equipment.

The visitor to your site then simply chooses the Make and Model of equipment that they are looking for, and the Type of equipment and the website will list the items available.
