You can easily create and maintain a database of products with any number of levels of categorisation. You can associate pictures, detailed descriptions and pricing information with products and, when you are happy with your catalogue, you simply publish it to the web server.

axis vMerchant offers support for both Business-to-Business (B2B) and Business-to-Consumer (B2C) On-Line Ordering.
Consumers (or retail customers) purchase goods on-line by browsing or searching your catalogue. Having added items (at standard pricing) to their shopping basket, they simply go to the checkout, enter their personal details, and pay by credit card in a totally secure environment.
Trade customers log on to the axis vMerchant website with User IDs and Passwords that you have supplied. They then see their trade pricing (which can be defined separately for each customer). In addition to payment by credit/debit card, trade orders may be on account, in which case the customer simply enters their official purchase order number and any special instructions.
