Spicers Ltd cease trading

On the 24th April, a major wholesaler to the Office Products industry for many years, Spicers Ltd, announced that they were aiming to appoint administrators. It has now been announced (via their website) that they have ceased trading.

The notice on their website, spicers.co.uk, says:

On 14 May 2020, R H Kelly and C G J King were appointed as Joint Administrators of Spicers Limited (‘the Company’). The Company has ceased trading with effect from 14 May 2020. This follows on from the news that Paragon Group had acquired OfficeTeam and ZenOffice (along with the 5 Star brand and stock).

We will be assessing any potential impact this may have on customer's axis diplomat back office software and axis vMerchant websites, for example in terms of data feeds, and will contact affected clients directly.
