Opayo API Protocol Version 4

Following on from 3D Secure v2 (Strong Customer Authentication) coming into effect in March of this year, Opayo have been asking customers to migrate to the latest version of their API using protocol version 4.

Whilst the latest protocol version was not required to support Strong Customer Authentication, support for earlier versions was only provided by Opayo on a temporary basis.

Although no hard deadline had been given for ending support for earlier versions, we wanted to ensure that our web solutions were using the latest API before any hard deadline was announced..

As a result, we have completed the R&D project to migrate our web software to using API Protocol Version 4 and we are pleased to confirm that all axis vMerchant websites are now using this version of the Opayo protocol.
