Cloud computing reduces costs by a quarter

Early adopters of cloud computing are reaping the benefits, according to a research study by Fujitsu, which revealed that 97% of respondents had made savings by introducing cloud computing projects. Of those, 71% claimed the savings had met or exceeded their expectations. Average savings amounted to 24% of the costs of a project, with some respondents claiming cost savings as high as 40%. Only 3% of businesses claimed to have experienced no benefits from introducing cloud computing.
