Brexit forces changes to carrier software

In preparation for Britain leaving the EU, many carriers (Delivery Service Providers) are modifying their software to require additional information on consignments. This typically includes more detailed information on the contents of each package that will be required as part of customs declarations should shipments to E.U. countries become classified as international exports.

For some customers, this may simply be a case of ensuring that you have updated to the latest carrier and axis diplomat software but, for others, this may mean improving your data, changing documents and making process changes. 

The additional information required typically includes commodity codes, countries of origin and values for each item (SKU) within the delivery.
