axis diplomat now supports Royal Mail Local Collect

Royal Mail Local Collect allows your customers to choose to have their items delivered directly to their local Post Office branch or Royal Mail Customer Service Point. 

Local Collect offers convenient delivery to a Post Office branch and with 10,000 branches across the UK and as 99% of the UK population live within one mile of a Post Office, it’s really convenient for your customers.

Offering local collection is a great way to differentiate your service from your competitors and is available now to anyone using axis diplomat 2018 with the Royal Mail Delivery Service Provider interface.

Sales orders can be set as Local Collect using Order Maintenance (for telesales orders) or when imported from a web site (providing your web site checkout also supports Local Collect). This information is then passed to Royal Mail automatically through axis diplomat's Click and Drop interface.
