Amazon Launches Netherlands Store

Amazon yesterday launched its sixth European platform with a dedicated site for the Dutch market.

In 2014, Amazon made a first step into the Netherlands, selling just eBooks and Kindles but are now offering a complete store.

With the launch, Amazon are now contacting existing marketplace sellers to invite them to list their products.

For those using the axis diplomat Amazon interface, the software has now been updated to support the Amazon NL locale.

At this time, it does not appear that they are operating a separate distribution centre in Holland and so there does not seem to be a requirement for axis diplomat users using Pan-European FBA to register for VAT in that country. These situations are, of course, liable to rapid change and so you are urged to confirm the latest position with Amazon.
