We are currently recruiting for the following roles:
Our Bridgwater office is within easy reach of the M5 at junctions 23 and 24 as well as being on the crossroads of the A38 and A39. This means it provides convenient commuting from a number of towns, including Taunton, Weston-super-Mare, Minehead, Street and Glastonbury.
Our Bromsgrove office is within easy reach of the M5 at junction 5 and the M42 at junction 1. It offers an easy commute from not only Bromsgrove but Droitwich, Redditch and further afield, including Worcestershire, Birmingham and beyond.
Due to expansion, we require additional C++ Programmers to work from our Bridgwater offices to work within the development team of our axis diplomat software package.
A good working knowledge of Microsoft Visual C++ and STL is required. Experience using the Win32 API directly would be an advantage.
We will want to see some evidence of projects (academic or otherwise) using C++.
Knowledge of SQL (specifically Microsoft) would also be an advantage.

You will be part of a busy but friendly service desk team providing customer-focused resolutions to incidents and working to SLAs from our Bromsgrove office. You will be identifying, diagnosing and resolving incidents and liaising with vendors. Primarily working with Avaya IP Office, telephony applications and networking. You will also have an opportunity to work with the full portfolio of products, applications and services Axis First provide to our client base. You will have the opportunity to fully contribute to the team and to identify and improve service and processes. Ongoing training available and working towards Avaya, Microsoft and other certifications encouraged and supported. Office based to start but may consider a mix of office and client site visits at a later stage.
Skills and Experience:
A good communicator with the ability to create business-like and lasting relationships with clients. You should have previous experience of telephony (particularly Avaya and Nortel) and preferably have experience of delivering telephony systems and/or working on a service desk. Good all round knowledge of telephony, networking and IT.
