Who are Axis First?
Formed in 1980 (initially as Softpac Limited but as Systems AXIS Limited since 1985), Axis First has been a provider of IT products and solutions for more than a quarter of a century. The business is privately owned and all of the shareholders work within the business full time.
With offices in Bridgwater (Somerset) and Bromsgrove (West Midlands), 35 full time staff and a turnover of over 1.5 million (2006-2007), we service small and medium businesses throughout the UK. Our experience and stability is testimony to our commitment to building long term relationships with our clients.
In 2005, Systems AXIS adopted the trading style Axis First, as part of a corporate rebranding project to more clearly identify the separate divisions within the company:
The original business of Systems AXIS was developing and marketing a range of business software. Originally called AXIS MAP, that software is now known as AXIS Diplomat and there are specific variants for a number of different markets, including Office Products, Hire, Wholesale/Distribution and Payroll.
Axis First supplies a wide range of ICT products and services for small and medium-sized businesses. From Support Services and Consultancy to Installation, Backup and Security, Axis First is able to provide professional solutions for today's business.
Axis First specialises in web solutions for business, including web design services and eCommerce solutions based around AXIS VMerchant. AXIS VMerchant offers exceptionally close and seemless integration with our back office software, AXIS Diplomat, to provide a true end-to-end solution.
As voice and data technologies have converged, Axis First has found itself in the ideal position to offer complete fixed line and mobile voice and data solutions to keep your business in touch. Our many years of experience with inter-site and intra-site data solutions has meant that we are ideally qualified to specify and install VoIP and digital PABX solutions, including branch and home-worker solutions. Our strategic partnerships with the key mobile service providers, including O2 and Vodafone, ensures that we are able to offer all of the competitive call plans whilst also understanding the additional requirements of mobile data.
