Loqate enforcing stricter security protocols

Loqate (formerly Postcode Anywhere) have recently started contacting their users to advise them of an up-coming security update.

Their communication states:

Loqate API Security Update.

As of September 30 2024, we will only be accepting API connections that utilise HTTPS and a TLS Protocol of 1.2 or higher. This means we will no longer be supporting API connections that use HTTP or a TLS protocol below version 1.2.

If you use Loqate for address retrieval, in axis diplomat or on an axis vMerchant website, please be assured that you do not need to take any action. Any changes that may be required to our systems will be implemented well in advance of the September deadline.
