March 2013 Payroll Legislation Updates

We began shipping the March 2013 Payroll Legislation Update on Monday, the 25th of March.

In addition to the statutory year-end changes, this release also incorporated:

Real Time Information (RTi)

All employers are required to report PAYE in real time from the first payday on or after 6 April 2013.

Reporting PAYE in real time (RTI) means that you will send HMRC data about tax, NICs and other deductions using the axis diplomat payroll software on or before each earnings payment is made rather than at the end of the tax year.

The information you send will tell HMRC how much you should pay to them.

HMRC have prepared a document explaining the principles of RTi, which is also available as a PDF.

Plain Paper A4 Payslip Print

axis diplomat 2012 users will also now be able to produce payslips on plain A4 paper, complete with a graphic backdrop template.
