What is document management?
There are many different definitions or meanings to the term “document management” and sometimes this is confused with digital archiving.
A document management system comprises of a central database of both scanned paper documents and computerised documents such as Word documents, Excel Spreadsheets and PDF documents. These documents are usually a mixture of live everyday working documents and documents stored for archive purposes.
