Microsoft SQL Server ConnectorUsing the Microsoft SQL Server Connector and ScanFlowStore, it is possible to scan documents directly in the correct table of a specific database on your Microsoft SQL Server. Any application that uses this table will then have the potential to display these scanned documents, making the Microsoft SQL Server Connector one of the most powerful add-ons for ScanFlowStore. As documents are scanned on your Xerox multi-function device, you users can be prompted to enter additional metadata which can be used to store the document in a specific SQL table. With the latest EIP enabled Xerox devices, it is possible to interrogate the Microsoft SQL Server and display a list of relational tables on the User Interface of the device. This makes the whole scanning process even more user-friendly and means that your users do not have to remember certain table names or database names they can simply select them directly from the touch-screen display of the Xerox machine. |
