Customisable Store ConnectorFor organisations that use specific line of business applications to run their business, it may be possible to incorporate some automated workflow into their business process. With the Customisable Store Connector, it is possible for third party applications to store scanned documents within their database. ScanFlowStore attaches a XML or TXT file containing the metadata to the PDF document, determining routing information to help navigation to the correct record within the third party application. When the document is scanned, it is sent to a default location on the application server. The third party application regularly polls this location for new XML files and when ScanFlowStore places a new document and XML file, this is picked up and interpreted to determine where the PDF file is to be stored or linked to by that application.
