By introducing this technology, Xerox have created a programmable interface that enables software companies to create their own bespoke Graphical User Interface (GUI) on the Xerox device.

This is a significant milestone in copier/printer history, these advances in technology change the way in which users operate and interact with their printers and copiers. Information can be now displayed, stored and printed easier than ever before. Custom interfaces can be created to simplify complex workflows within an organisation making the Xerox machine more accessible to your users.

• Using EIP it is possible to establish bi-directional communication with your IT network making use of Active Directory and Windows Folder Structure. This bi-directional communication can extend further to other applications. In additional to that ScanFlowStore have specific connectors to Microsoft SQL Server and Oracle Databases which enable users to connect to a specific database and create views on the device.

 

• EIP enables each user can now have their own personalised scan menu displayed on the Xerox device.

 

• Using an Equitrac or ScanFlowStore Login, your users can get easy access to their personal scan destinations through the use of Lightweight Directory Authentication Protocol (LDAP). Based on this login information, a user can scan directly into their mailbox or home directory without any further action.
