AXIS Diplomat & Intrastat
Plain Paper Returns
Last Reviewed:
05 November 2004
Products affected: AXIS Diplomat Accounts
7.3/7.4 & AXIS Diplomat 2000
Description: Intrastat - Plain Paper Returns
With effect from the 1st January 1999, HM Customs
and Excise have withdrawn approval for all plain paper Intrastat declarations
and will no longer accept them.
We have introduced four new A4 Declaration functions
to the Intrastat Reports menu which are part of the standard Intrastat
module within AXIS Diplomat Accounts Release 7.4. These functions are
designed to print onto the standard pre-printed forms supplied by HM Customs
and Excise (contact your local HM Customs and Excise office). The official
reference numbers for these forms are as follows:
Form |
Reference |
Supplementary Declaration - Arrivals |
C1500 |
Supplementary Declaration - Arrivals
(Continuation) |
C1500 (cont.) |
Supplementary Declaration - Dispatches |
C1501 |
Supplementary Declaration - Dispatches
(Continuation) |
C1501 (cont.) |
The existing plain paper declarations remain on the
menu but have been amended to state that HM Customs and Excise have withdrawn
approval for plain paper declarations and will no longer accept them.
Please note: the reports remain on the menu to enable
users to print the details out and then manually transfer the information
onto the pre-printed forms.
Important Notes:
- The new A4 Declaration options require a Hewlett
Packard HP4 laser Printer or above to work correctly. This is because
the forms have not been designed for completing by computers/printers
and the spacing between boxes varies by differing amounts. Most printers
do not have the control necessary to complete the form with the necessary
accuracy.
- The pre-printed forms allow zero tolerance for
line up.
- The new forms may only be printed using Version
7.4 Software. Customers with earlier versions will have to complete
their forms manually until such time as they update their system to
the current release.
- Support for additional printers may be added
in the future - this Technical Support note will be updated as and when
new printer types are added.
- End -
