AXIS Diplomat 2000 - Music-rule
not displayed on report preview
Last Reviewed:
05 November 2004
Products affected: AXIS
Diplomat 2000
Description: When
using the 'Preview' option to view a report on screen, the 'music-rule'
normally seen on alternate lines is missing (i.e. the report background
is plain white).
Cause: The colour used for music-rule
lines is only available on displays which support more than 256
colours. If you are using a video driver with only a 16 colour or 256
colour display then the report background will appear as white.
Resolution: Change your Windows setup
for the video display selecting a display mode which supports more than
256 colours (this may be described as '65536 colour', 'Hi-colour'
or 'True-colour'. Please note that the availability of this option will
be dependent on the capabilities of both your video hardware and the Windows
device driver being used.
If you are using Microsoft's Terminal Server client,
the client will not display more than 256 colours regardless of the video
settings on your workstation and thus music-rule cannot be displayed.
