Uninstall Exchange Group Calendar step by step (exchange 2007)

• To uninstall the software you must first stop sharing for all users in step #3 of the gcadmin.exe. Make sure that you log on as gcadmin user before you try that. You can select the first and CTRL + the last user in step #3 to un-share everyone with one click.

 

• After that you select all users and calendars in step #2 and disconnect everyone from all Group Calendars. (here too you can select all users with first user - SHIFT last user.

 

• Now you can delete the com+ component from the Component Services applet and the program installation directory with all sub folders.

 

• Open Exchange System Manager - Select 'Folders' - 'Public Folders' - 'GroupCalendar' and delete it.

 

• Log off and back on as administrator and delete the GCADMIN user account from the AD U&C tool.

To uninstall the software you must first stop sharing for all users (below).

After that you select all users and calendars (below) and disconnect everyone.

Now you can uninstall the software from control panel - add/remove programs. This will remove the com+ component and executable.
