Software Support Technician

We seek a computer literate individual to join our Software Application Support department for the Axis Diplomat Business and Office Products Packages. Full on the job training will be provided and we will place a higher priority on suitable personal skills than direct relevant previous experience.

Description:

This is a full-time office based post located in our Bridgwater office. After an initial period of training and familiarisation the successful candidate will offer first line telephone support to existing customers responding to their requests for help, advice and guidance on the AXIS Diplomat Business packages, (including Payroll). They will liaise between customers and our programming department to diagnose problems and offer solutions to end users. They will track the progress of support calls keeping customers fully informed of status.

• Ability to absorb new information effectively
• Good standard of education
• Ability to fit into a team environment
• A high level of initiative and common sense
• An understanding of basic accounting

Desirable Skills/Characteristics:

• AAT qualified
• A good working knowledge of Windows operating systems
• A good working knowledge of AXIS Diplomat, Sage or other computerised accounting system
• A good working knowledge of computerised or manual payroll system
• A good working knowledge of Microsoft Office products
• Previous help-desk experience

Customer Services - Office Products Specialist Installation/Training

Due to the steady growth in the Office Products arena, we are looking to recruit an additional member of the team responsible for installing, training and supporting software installations for Office Products Dealers. The successful candidate will have experience of the Office Products industry and be able to demonstrate good IT and convergence skills. A willingness to travel throughout the UK is essential.

Package includes an attractive salary dependant on qualifications & experience, company car, employers pension contributions and performance related bonus.

VoIP Telephony/Communications Engineer

You will have a good working knowledge of telephony systems and network infrastructure (from either a data or telephony background). Experience of Avaya or similar VoIP systems an advantage.

Sales Representative (IT Sales)

This position would suit someone with previous experience of sales and/or support in the IT industry.

The ideal candidate should be familiar with IT and networking concepts, including Windows Server and Workstation platforms. Previous experience selling IT solutions on PC-based networks would be ideal and a reasonable level of technical competence would be required. The job will involve a significant amount of traveling within the UK and so the successful candidate will be someone who can demonstrate an ability to work as part of a team whilst being self-motivated.

Sales Representative (Office Products)

This position would suit someone with experience of sales and/or IT support within the Office Products industry with a keen interest in moving into IT Systems Sales.

The ideal candidate should be familiar with computers and, preferably, accounts and business systems. Previous experience selling IT solutions on PC-based networks would be ideal. The job will involve a significant amount of traveling within the UK and so the successful candidate will be someone who can demonstrate an ability to work as part of a team whilst being self-motivated.
