BlackBerry Enterprise Server™ (BES) v4.1 for customers using the BlackBerry Enterprise Solution™ provides you with your company Email, Calendar, Tasks and Address Book synchronised between your device and desktop and the ability to deploy devices remotely.
BES 4.1 is available for Microsoft Exchange®, Lotus Domino® and Novell GroupWise® platforms.
- Your BlackBerry® Enterprise Solution is easier to control and manage centrally with new Group and Role Based Administration features, saving your IT department time and money.
- Enterprise Instant Messaging is available so you can collaborate with colleagues just as quickly and effectively on the move as on your desktop
- It's easier to mobilise applications with Mobile Data System Studio and Web Services, allowing you to deploy existing applications out to people working remotely
- If you're still using an older BES (version 3.6 or less) you get all the great features of the previous version, BES 4.0, when you upgrade to 4.1, such as:
- Full two-way synchronisation of your email, address book, notes and tasks while on the move
- The ability to provision devices wirelessly - allowing faster and easier roll-out to end users
